What you will learn and discover

Pottery Skills & Artistic Growth

Through over 12 hours of hands-on classes, you’ll be guided by Laima Laurina as she shares her signature techniques. You’ll learn the foundational methods of hand-building, pinching, coiling, and slab-building, and create your own pieces. You’ll also explore surface decoration, underglaze painting, and color mixing to add your personal flair to each piece. Whether you're new to pottery or looking to refine your skills, you'll leave with new techniques and creative confidence.

Creative Immersion in a Tropical Sanctuary

Bali has a way of slowing you down the moment you arrive. The air, the colours, the rhythm of the island, it all creates the perfect environment to get lost in creativity. With Laima guiding you through each hand-building session, you’ll feel supported, inspired, and encouraged to experiment, play, and reconnect with your artistic side. It’s a space where ideas flow easily and nothing feels rushed.

Sensory Delights & Balinese Culture

This retreat is as much about discovering Bali as it is about pottery. Picture wandering through Ubud’s buzzing markets, tasting fresh spices during a cooking class, or walking quietly through the rice fields.. And between it all, you’ll enjoy massages, sunsets, and moments of stillness that feel like real nourishment.

Peaceful Surroundings & Connection

Your home for the week is a beautiful Bali villa, pool, sauna, cold bath, gym, yoga shala, but more importantly, it’s a place that feels calm and welcoming. You’ll settle in quickly, share meals around the table, laugh, unwind, and connect with people who are there for the same reason as you: to create, to reset, and to enjoy something meaningful. It’s intimate, warm, and genuinely special.

Her time on the island of Mallorca as a ceramics apprentice further shaped her artistic voice, infusing her work with Mediterranean influences and a refined sense of form and function.

Today, Laima’s work is a delicate balance of precision, playfulness, and organic beauty. Each piece is handcrafted using her own techniques, often featuring soft colour gradients and the textural elegance of porcelain.

Her art tells a quiet, powerful story, one of curiosity, patience, and an enduring respect for the natural world.
