Flowers, Perfume & Unexpected Friendships

Grasse, French Riviera, June 2026

Our Floral & Fragrance Retreat with Petrina Bloom in Grasse was a true first for Madame Voyage: our first retreat dedicated to floral & fragrance, and our first experience hosting the incredible Petrina Bloom. We loved every minute of it.

For six unforgettable days, our group gathered at the stunning Villa Norah, perched high on the hills overlooking Grasse, the perfume capital of the world. The villa itself was simply magnificent. With its beautiful Art Deco interiors, breathtaking views and dreamy swimming pool, it felt like stepping into another era.

Flowers were, of course, at the heart of the week. Under Petrina's guidance, we immersed ourselves in two beautiful floral workshops. The first focused on creating abundant vase arrangements, while the second saw everyone crafting stunning flower crowns. The ladies approached each workshop with such passion, curiosity and creativity. Petrina herself described the local flowers we organised as "next level", some of the most beautiful blooms she had ever worked with!

As much as we fell in love with flowers, fragrance quickly captured our hearts too... We explored the fascinating Musée International de la Parfumerie and its beautiful gardens, learning about Grasse's rich perfume-making heritage. But the undeniable highlight was our perfume creation workshop at Galimard. Each guest had the opportunity to create her very own signature fragrance, guided by expert perfumers. It was such a joyful and personal experience, and one that everyone absolutely adored.

On our final day, we visited the private gardens of Valérie, a hidden paradise tucked away in Grasse. The gardens were simply magical, overflowing with fragrance and beauty. It was one of those rare places that leaves you speechless. Petrina joked that she had found her French soulmate in Valérie, and honestly, we all understood why.

Beyond the flowers and perfume, what made this retreat truly unforgettable was the atmosphere. There was something incredibly special about gathering a group of women from different backgrounds and watching friendships form so naturally. Every evening, we shared a meal together and held our "Around the Table" conversations, exploring meaningful topics and listening to one another's stories. There were moments of laughter, moments of vulnerability and moments that moved us deeply. By the end of the week, it felt like we had known each other forever.

And then came the final night! What started as dinner quickly turned into dancing, singing and karaoke. In true Petrina style, the celebrations reached their peak when she jumped straight into the swimming pool, fully clothed. It was spontaneous, hilarious and the perfect ending to a week filled with joy!
