French Gardens and Flowers With Petrina

Dates: September 7th to 12th, 2027
Location: Normandy, France
Normandy is where dramatic coastlines, celebrated gardens, flowers, and French heritage come together. Across six days, you will discover the region through its landscapes, villages, and creative traditions. The experience blends cultural visits, floral moments, and time to explore, from the historic harbour of Honfleur and the gardens of Giverny to the cliffs of Étretat and the elegance of Deauville. You will pick flowers, create your own floral crown, discover remarkable gardens and châteaux, and enjoy a professional photography session. The rhythm is gentle and immersive, balancing guided experiences with leisurely lunches, relaxed evenings at the Chateau, and time to enjoy Normandy at their own pace. This is your time to reconnect with your creativity, and experience the French "Art De Vivre".

Get to know your host

We’re so excited to welcome Petrina Burrill back for another Madame Voyage retreat.
Petrina brings such a warm, creative and generous energy to everything she does, with a beautiful eye for flowers, colour and natural design. Her workshops are relaxed, inspiring and hands-on, making them just as enjoyable for complete beginners as they are for guests who already love working with flowers.
This will be our second retreat with Petrina, following the wonderful success of our French Rivers Flower Retreat in June 2026. It was such a special week... filled with flowers, creativity, laughter and genuine connection, that we knew we wanted to create something together again!
For 2027, we’re taking that experience to Normandy, with a new retreat centred around Flowers & Gardens. Expect beautiful seasonal blooms, some of France’s most iconic gardens, hands-on floral experiences and plenty of time to slow down, create and enjoy it all with Petrina.
